A: Absolutely not. The Portal is meant to enhance the Ascent customer service experience. The portal will provide an additional line of communication to Ascent Sales and Support.
Q: What are some advantages of using the Portal?
A: Think of the portal as an online repository for job information, files too large to email, calendar information (shipments, etc.) and more.
Q: So the portal is an online backup and archive for all my jobs? Nice!
A: Not really. Think of the portal system as more of a convenience. No guarantee is made, express or implied, that your portal data will always be here. Local backups of your data systems are ALWAYS encouraged.
Q: I do not wish to learn yet another online system. Will my level-of-service decrease if I choose not to use the portal?
A: Not at all. We at Ascent are no stranger to old-school support and service. We still answer the phone, we still answer emails. The portal system is incredibly easy to use though - if you can comment on a Facebook post or YouTube video, you can drop right in here.
